God is a Giver
God is a giver. He gives us everything from the food we eat to the love we experience in His presence. Ultimately, He gave us Jesus as His greatest gift which opens the way to complete forgiveness and eternal life. Modeling this same spirit of generosity is one of the ways we worship God. As we become more like Him, we will grow in our giving and one of the primary ways we do this is through returning our tithes and offerings to God with a cheerful and grateful heart!
“A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord" (Leviticus 27:30). We are managers, not owners, of what God has entrusted to us. Therefore, tithing is bringing back to God what is His.

A tithe is a mathematical term that literally means a tenth (10%). The principle of first instructs us to bring the tithe first, not from what is left over. The Bible says, "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine" (Proverbs 3:9-10).
When you tithe, you're trusting God with your finances. "‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.’" (Malachi 3:10).
Jesus said that tithe should not be neglected. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices - mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law - justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former" (Matthew 23:23).
We consider our giving that is over and above 10% as an offering to God. Tithes and offerings received at Church Experience fund the mission, vision, and activities of our church family! As God's people are faithful, His Church is fruitful in advancing the Gospel! Giving to God through CE is planting seed in great soil that will bring an eternal harvest!
We teach people to give their "tithe" (10%) to God through "Church Experience" and give any above and beyond "offerings" through their choice of funds below. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowable under IRS regulations. Over time, the purpose of the following funds may need to change or become eliminated. In that case, unused funds will be redirected to a Church Experience ministry investment with a similar purpose. Advance the vision.
Catalyst: "an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action." CE Catalyst is for people who want to build God's Kingdom by multiplying CE locations in Jesus’ name! Money given to God through CE Catalyst goes toward planting & relaunching new church locations and strategically building up existing CE locations. Monthly CE Catalyst financial reports and ministry progress updates are sent to most who give on a recurring basis through this fund.

Are my financial gifts tax-deductible?
Yes. Church Experience is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Will I receive a year-end giving statement?
Yes! Year-end giving statements are sent to all donors by January 31 each year for the prior calendar year. Giving statements during the year are available upon request and also accessible year-round for online giving accounts.

Can I donate stocks, land, vehicles, crypto, or other property for a tax deduction?
Yes, you can generally donate most types of assets to Church Experience to the extent permitted by law. Church Experience will issue you a tax-deductible giving receipt for approved gifts. Those assets can then be used for ministry purposes or sold by the church to fund ministry with CE.
How is my donation used?
CE works hard to manage every gift for maximum Kingdom impact for God through your church! We strive to honor the intent of the giver as giving flows through the fund that you designate when you give, but all gifts are by default available to be used as needed for the overall purpose of the ministry.
How does CE handle financial accountability?
Church Experience is overseen by our Board of Directors, Senior Pastors, and a Senior Leadership Team. We have accountability processes in place with appropriate checks and balances along with regular financial reports and reviews. Our desire is to handle every gift and every transaction with the utmost care and integrity so that God is pleased and lives are forever changed by Jesus!
How much of the money I give at my campus is used for ministry at my local campus?
When someone gives to a CE campus, about 80-85% of what is given to the “Church Experience” fund at their campus is utilized directly at that local campus. Those funds go toward things like paying for a facility to gather in, a local CE Lead Pastor and/or employees at that campus, local savings and ministry expenses, and similar investments. The remainder of the funds are generally invested into CE Mission Support, which provides an incredible amount of support for each campus with shipped supplies and materials, technology and subscriptions, graphic design and teaching series resources, communications support, financial management and data entry, governance, team members to support in church operations, coaching and training of local leaders, and so much more! The goal of Church Experience Mission Support is to provide far more value than what a local CE campus would have been able to have alone!
Can I include Church Experience in my estate plan?
Yes! Including Church Experience in your will or other estate plan will make an impact for God's Kingdom that far outlives your time on earth and brings more people to heaven after you're gone!
