Frequently Asked Questions

• What should I expect on my first visit?

  We can't wait to meet you! Plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early so you have time to park, check-in your kids, grab a coffee, and find a good seat! We strive to create a warm, welcoming environment and hope you feel right at home! Services last about an hour or so, and include worship music followed by a powerful message from the Bible! Services are generally upbeat with modern music and you’ll see people dressed casually, so just come as you are!

• What should I wear?

  Whatever's comfortable, but most dress casual. We care way more about you being here than what you're wearing!

• Is there anything for my kids?

  Yes! Kid Experience runs during each weekend worship service for kids birth through 5th grade. It's a safe, fun, age-appropriate environment where your kids will learn about Jesus and build friendships through activities, worship songs, creative teaching, and group discussion. We have a quick check-in area where you’ll register your family on your first visit, then briefly check-in on successive visits. Our goal is for your child to have a great time at church, make some positive friendships, and most of all grow closer to Jesus!

• What are your beliefs and what denomination is your church?

  Church Experience is a non-denominational Bible-teaching Christian church with beliefs firmly established on the Bible.

• What translation of the Bible do you use and recommend?

  There are many great English translations of the Bible, but in our weekend worship experiences we primarily use the New International Version (NIV).

• I notice there are different campuses of your church. How does preaching from the pastor work at each location?

  Church Experience leadership is passionate about live, local preaching at each CE location. In order to stay connected as “one church” our Senior Pastor does preach through video to all CE locations about once a month at least for part of the message, while the majority of the preaching comes from the local Lead Pastor. Each campus benefits from the same teaching series theme across the whole church!

• I see there is a Lead Pastor at this campus, but a Senior Pastor for the church as a whole. How does that work?

  Church Experience Lead Pastors are intentionally not called “Campus Pastors” despite having a similar organizational role within the greater church. Senior Leadership within CE decided to empower the pastors at each campus to preach and make many leadership decisions at a local level. Each campus is not autonomous so the “Lead Pastors” do serve under the authority and accountability of Church Experience Senior Leadership (CE Board of Directors, Senior Pastors, & Senior Leadership Team). This combination of a pastor at the campus along with accountability outside the local campus allows lots of local leadership decisions to be made locally, while also providing sufficient support, protection, and sustainability for the campus.

• How do I get connected when I'm ready?

  We'd love to help you take your next step and get more involved with Church Experience! Stop by the Red Carpet after the service, fill out a Response Card, or Plan Your Visit ahead of time. From there, we can point you toward Life Groups, Serving Teams, our Growth Track, along with many other ways to grow in your relationship with God and His Church!
